Interesting experiences

I have had some interesting experiences during the past few months in Thailand when I was there. I have continued to help with various projects in and around my community. I have assisted with several English camps for Thai youth, assisted with a training program for local farmers relating to organic mushroom farming, regularly met with local youth at my home to discuss Thai-American cultural differences (and current events), and met with students and teachers in local schools. Also, I have vacationed in Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia and on the Southern Thai island of Koh Samui. I have so much fun before when I was in Thailand. Hope to visit there again.

Thai dance performance

I finally had an opportunity to explore Khao Pra Wi Haan (the famous temple ruins that straddle the Thai Cambodian border), but I must say that I was largely under-whelmed. After hearing so much about it, I had hoped that the site would be at least as impressive as some of the lesser temple ruins surrounding the Ankgor Wat in Cambodia, but unfortunately it was not. I suppose it was interesting to learn a bit about the history surrounding the site, and the view of the Cambodian countryside was breathtaking (the ruins are situated atop a mountain), but if I were visiting Thailand or Cambodia for a typical 2 or 3 week vacation, I would probably give the site a pass. There are much more interesting (and accessible) ruins elsewhere in both countries.

During early June I attended a festival in my district town. As I write this message, I cannot remember the name of the festival, but I vaguely remember that it celebrated the memory and accomplishments of one of Thailand's early kings. The parade and dance performances involved hundreds of people and were quite impressive.

I was just finish talking to one my good carol she was so happy to hear from me that everything is fine. And her family is all good too. She just working midnights, and staying up all day with the kids till 5; 30 pm. Then she goes to bed after her husband Chris is home. Long days. So she fell real tried during the week. Then when the weekend she still feel tried, and exhausted. She is working on her job at home, so she can be home with her kids, and not have to worry about no sleep. So, her weeks are very treeing, with work, and the kids. And she said hope is well with me. She hopes that my pregnancy is doing well, and I’m always feeling good. She said take is easy. And she ask me how is it going and I said everything is doing well? She ask about Jasmine is feeling good, and her health is good. And she said her kids are good. Sky is all over, grabbing things, and knocking things down. Anise is going into young fives this fall. It is like preschool. It was good talking to my friend carol.

Getting married!

Wow! One of my friends is getting married in Vegas she invites me to attend on her wedding day. But unfortunately I could not come on her wedding because the date of her wedding is the date of my delivery of my second child. I hope she will be happy on her wedding day I know this is her dream that she will get married to that guy. Happy wedding to my friend I wish your luck!

Italy

Now that I saw the picture in Italy I really want to go there. Its look like very interesting place it has a lot of old building I wish someday we can make a trip going to Italy. I know different country different picture. But anyway just looking at this photo I can imagine that some day we can make a trip going to Italy.

When got here in United States it was so cold to me Tim said oh! Janet this is not the coldest its almost over just wait next year and you will know what is cold weather. I said oh! Yeah! And he said yes my love. After few moth months I stay here in United States my husband said now the leaf on tree will changes into different color. I said wow I never seen like that in our country maybe on the mountain it will happened they same but I never saw like here in United states that the leaf on the tree will changes into deferent color. And after that the leaf starts falling around. Its look like to me the tree is dead because all the leaf is gone in our county if no more leaf you can make a fire wood. And my husband said that is not dead Janet only the leaf is gone but the trees are still alive. Oh! Okay I said but look at this beautiful tree I think you can only see this kind of color on the mountain in our country.

Miss Philippines 2008

Last night I could not sleep so I turn on the computer and I was looking on YouTube Miss Philippines 2008 named Janine San Miguel she said that she was so confident of herself and that is good if you are confident of yourself but I know that she kind of nervous at that time that’s why people are laughing at her because she did not answer the question right away. One of my friends told me. Do you understand her pain? That is what she gets for saying she as so confident That is why she looked like such a fool All she had to do was admit that she was a little nervous and the audience probably would have been more supportive to her.

I had a good time

I had a good time hanging out with some folks at the park this past month. Otherwise this month was fairly okay. I hand an appointment this coming July 31 I hope everything will be fine. But actually the doctor said everything looks normal or maybe they say that so that I don’t need to worry. I know its different here than in the Philippines I don’t know what’s the different here between Philippines. But I know the technology here is not the same what they use in the Philippines. But anyway I will know soon enough.

Interesting night.

Well this has been quite an interesting night this is my second night that my husband is not around only me and my daughter in our apartment but I’m so busy doing of my journal. I’m kind of anxious to get busy, but I think that I should just enjoy the night without my husband while I can.
The people here in our apartment building have been wonderful so I don’t need to worry even my husband is not here with us. I’m looking forward that we can get a new house so that if my husband is not around I can plant something. And it has a lot of potential if you on a house.

We just came home from giant store my daughter was so sleep while we are at the groceries I just get milk, bread I was in hurry because she is getting wild now I realize that I forgot something. But it’s okay maybe tomorrow morning we go for a walk and stop by in giant and i will buy what i for got to buy. And now our daughter she is taking a nap. While she is taking her nap time I will cook something for our dinner. My husband is not here so I will cook Pilipino food its simple and easy way to cook I don’t need recipe. I will cook sinigang pork so that my baby can eat lots of rice. That is all for now until next time.

Who was drinking more

On Saturday, police broke up a disturbance between a couple arguing over which one was drunker. Both were arrested and taken to Overlake Hospital for treatment of injuries to their heads.The police are charging them with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, but not assault.They each injured themselves and not the other.It seems, according to police and witnesses, that the couple were taking turns bashing their heads into the drywall walls and the wooden door of their apartment in order to prove they were so drunk that they couldn't feel the pain.
