When I woke up this morning, I was thinking about my family in Biliran, Philippines. It has been a long time since I spoke with any of them or had a chance to chat with my sisters or brothers. However, I just chatted with one of my cousins in Biliran, and she told me that my father and siblings are doing well. Thus, I now know that I do not need to worry about my family in the Philippines. While chatting with my cousin, I came up with what I think is a good idea of having a business for the Philippine provinces because most of my family members are there. My family members can help me manage the new business. The best business that I can think of is starting an internet cafe in my home province. Because most of the student there are using internet in their schools and, if I’m not mistaken, only two internet cafes have a fast connection, the business should be successful. I am sure most people in my home town will be happy about my plan because most of my friends in Biliran have kids and I’m sure this internet cafe will be a great resource for them. I know most people in the world start with a small business and after their business has had a chance to grow and become more popular, they add more services and capacity. I know most people in the world who have regular internet access probably access the internet in their home, but most people in developing countries, like where I grew up, don’t have internet access or even a computer in their home.
