Installing the new hardwood floor

We are now in the midst of the third day of installing the new hardwood floor in our dining room and kitchen. Yesterday, we finished applying a floor leveling compound. So now my husband will sand down a few rough spots before we start to put down the underlayment and begin installing the floor. I am excited that it seems likely that we will begin installing the floor in our kitchen today. Thus, we are finally reaching the point where we will soon have the floor complete. Once the floor is done, my husband will finalize the new wall that will surround our built-in refrigerator. We will then turn to the installation of the new granite and marble backsplash. The kitchen should look quite nice by the time we are all done.
