PNC bank

My husband and I are both planning to change our banks. We have both been with Citibank for years, but some recent policy and fee changes have prompted us to seek out a new banking home. We both incurred monthly service charges last month on accounts that were originally billed as free checking. This followed an announcement of the fee changes and subsequent reassurances from the bank that we would not be impacted. Now that the bank has actually deducted funds, we are fed up and have determined that we will cancel our accounts immediately. We decided on PNC bank which has a local branch in our hometown. My husband completed an online application ion today and opened his account there. I expect that I will drop by the branch in person on tomorrow to open my account. I will try to remember to provide an update on how things go at the bank.
