It’s early in the morning my husband already starting to work in our family room. As you know now that he is done putting the new hard wood floor in our family room. He started to put a new baseboards, right now he is measuring the chair rails wood. I can see that when everything is done our house will very look nice compare before when we first move you know. My husband did a lot of work in our house and I am very proud of him. Because one we really save a lot of money two because he is not a construction workers. All he did is search and flow the instruction of what people say on the internet. And he really did a great job. Maybe you think because he is my husband that’s why I say that, that he really did a great job no you think wrong. I say that because I see in my own eyes that he really did a great job. “I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family!” Aaahhh! No we are not!! I am sick of you, Barney! Make it stop! My three-year-old daughter is completely obsessed with that crazy, purple dinosaur named Barney. It might not be so bad, but unfortunately for me, we only own 1 Barney DVD (Barney Goes to the Farm). I work during the day, and she goes to daycare, so we are never home when the actual show is on. It is that same annoying DVD over and over and over. I was complaining to the girls at work about how I’ve got the whiney songs and cheesy lines stuck in my head, and one of my coworkers (who has 4 girls, God bless her soul), mentioned www.ExpertSatellite.com to me. Last year, we had a visit from one of my husband’s nephews and his girlfriend. The both attend a performing arts college in Boston and were visiting us for spring break. My husband’s nephew plays the guitar, while his girlfriend was a singer. He mentioned that he had a bass guitar and that he sometimes plays in clubs, bars and restaurants around the Boston area. My husband and I are both planning to change our banks. We have both been with Citibank for years, but some recent policy and fee changes have prompted us to seek out a new banking home. We both incurred monthly service charges last month on accounts that were originally billed as free checking. This followed an announcement of the fee changes and subsequent reassurances from the bank that we would not be impacted. Now that the bank has actually deducted funds, we are fed up and have determined that we will cancel our accounts immediately. We decided on PNC bank which has a local branch in our hometown. My husband completed an online application ion today and opened his account there. I expect that I will drop by the branch in person on tomorrow to open my account. It was snowing the other day and I thought it was enough to make snow man but again I was wrong. I love it when it snows. It always makes the area look very clean and peaceful. There were flurries three days ago if I am not mistaken, but they dill little more than wet the ground. The current snow showers are actually sticking on the grassy areas. Thus, there is a good chance that we will end up with a nice blanket of whit before the storm is complete. Our daughters have not yet seen the heavier flurries. But I am sure that they will be quite excited with the prospect of using their new snow sleds if the snow continues.

Installing the new hardwood floor

We are now in the midst of the third day of installing the new hardwood floor in our dining room and kitchen. Yesterday, we finished applying a floor leveling compound. So now my husband will sand down a few rough spots before we start to put down the underlayment and begin installing the floor. I am excited that it seems likely that we will begin installing the floor in our kitchen today. Thus, we are finally reaching the point where we will soon have the floor complete. Once the floor is done, my husband will finalize the new wall that will surround our built-in refrigerator. We will then turn to the installation of the new granite and marble backsplash. The kitchen should look quite nice by the time we are all done.

We had a very busy day on yesterday. After dropping my oldest daughter at school, my husband and I gathered our other kids and made a very long drive to Frederick, Maryland. We had to go there to pick up the remaining wood for our family room. My husband managed to get an excellent deal on the final two boxes of Brazilian Cherry flooring. He found a store that had only two boxes left in stock - one of which had been severely damaged. The store agreed to sell the flooring for .12 cents per square foot. The only catch was that we had to drive to Frederick, Maryland (a trip of about 40 miles each way) to pick it up. While we were out, we also stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some silverware and at Home Depot to pick up some materials for leveling our kitchen floor. Later last night, after we got home, we had quite an adventure working to get our floor level.

Yesterday my husband and I finally finished preparing to install a new hardwood floor in our dining room. It is just a portion of a large project that will ultimately result in the replacement of the floors in our kitchen and family rooms as well. We ultimately decided on Brazilian cherry, which we think is a beautiful wood. We especially like the way that it darkens and sometimes reddens over time with exposure to sunlight. Just today we will be making a trip to a local flooring store to pick up the remainder of the wood for our family room. Then we will work on leveling our kitchen and starting to actually install the floor in our dining room. No doubt that it will be a very tiring and intense process, but I am convinced that it will be well worth it in the end. We laid out some of the wood for the dining room on yesterday and I was very excited to see how beautiful it looked. I will keep you posted on our progress.

When I was in high school the only technology you needed to know about was Atari and that was a big jump if you were totally NOT into video games like me! Nowadays the kids all have to have smartphones and wireless internet and the direct tv tuscaloosa…I just don’t understand where we got so far away from having actual conversations with one another. I really miss sitting down at the dinner table and having a good long chat with my family because every night someone’s on the phone or texting or watching something on TV and no, honey, watching Jeopardy while we eat does not count as doing something educational! I love being a mom but I feel like it’s harder now in the digital age than it ever was before. There’s something missing from the way we communicate with each other and I wish everyone as a whole would realize it before there’s no turning back from this, you know? We’ve totally let technology take over our lives.

Well this morning while we were walking to school Jasmine is asking me if Santa Claus already receive her letter and I told her probably. My husband is an audio video enthusiast. A few years ago when we first moved into the area, we learned that our family room and basement were already wired for bookshelf speakers. Although summer is now behind us and the weather has grown cool, my husband and I continue to explore ways to beautify our home. Shortly after we moved-in, we learned from a neighbor that our family room was wired for an in-wall sound system. As my husband is a long term audio-video enthusiast, he quickly went about reading reviews about built-in speaker systems before deciding on a purchase and having some speakers installed. I admit that the effect was pretty good. However, after a while we concluded that the sound was not as rich and full-bodied as we would prefer. This ultimately led to the purchase of a separate subwoofer. The sub worked wonders in that it significantly enhanced the presence of whatever we happened to be listening to. But one problem remained. We did not have a dedicated center channel speaker and so we often missed things that were being said. Aftersignificant research, y husband has decided that we need a sound bar for tv viewing. We concluded that a soundbar would provide a dedicated channel for what is likely the most important aspect of listening to speech, the center channel.

My husband appears to be slowly losing his hair. At this stage, it is not clear how it will ultimately turn out. Thus, if my husband were to pursue this option, the solution would be a one-time fix. We could expect to move from an embarrassing bald spot to “new” growing hair shortly after having completed the procedure.

As we move into the winter months, we are now focusing on indoor home improvements. At the moment, we are planning to replace the floor in our kitchen and family room. I took my two youngest daughters to a local clinic for a checkup a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed by the variety of the nursing uniforms of some of the women on staff. It appears that many of the more senior nurses wear some rather flamboyant colors. I was surprised to see anything other than standard sky blue, white or pink uniforms. Instead I saw a wide variety of colors and patterns which I found to be surprising.

Good morning everyone I just came home a while ago from my daughter school. Now I’m getting ready to clean up the house while my two little one still busy watching their favorite show. I have so many laundries to fold and need to iron. And my husband told me this morning that his two grandmothers and his parent are coming next week. It means I’m going to be busy again.

I love to ride motorcycles. They provide a sense of freedom that is often missing from travel by car. A ride on a motor bike can sometimes seem almost as primal as travel by horseback – at least if you are riding off-road. When I was growing up in the Philippines, most people traveled by motor bike or by jeep or by motorized tricycle, which is just a motorcycle with a cab attached to the side. One thing that was usually missing was any attempt at safety. It wasn’t until I arrived in the United States that I realized that most people seem to use motorcycle helmets when riding. Thus, my husband and I agreed that we would ensure that our kids learn as much as possible about motor bikes. Our oldest is pretty good about remembering things, so she usually will find her bicycle helmet before getting on her bike. We are lucky that our two younger daughters want nothing more than to be like their big sister. Thus, I suspect that it will be a lot easier to get them to wear bicycle helmets. I am just hoping that they never start to demand that the helmets and other protective gear be stylish.

I wonder how many people in the world who have come in the United State of America. And visited 35 states or more you know. Well we have friend from Thailand who started traveling at the first month of October this year. Their flight start from Bangkok to Hawaii and from to Michigan, I think I can’t remember exactly. But that’s one of the place they have visited here in the United States. The mean purpose of their travel adventures here in the United States of America. Is to visit his co-exchange students 40 years ago and to visit a person that he has helped to make their love life come true.

I live in a relatively safe neighborhood in a small town and have never really worried about home security until recently. I don’t know what has brought it on but in the past few weeks, several of my neighbors have had items stolen from their vehicles. After talking with them I decided it was time to think more seriously about protecting myself. I wonder how it would feel to wear medical scrubs. They seem to be loose fitting, and very comfortable. I first thought about purchasing medical scrubs a few weeks ago as Halloween approached. I thought a doctor’s uniform or a hospital nurse uniform would have been good choices for my costume. This led me to perform some online shopping searches for medical scrubs. While a performing an online search for paintball products, I kept seeing references to Airsoft. At first, I thought it was an online retailer that sold air guns. Then, I thought it was a traditional retail store that sold such products. But I kept seeing references where the meaning of the term was not clear. Well, then I was curious and determined to find out just What is Airsoft. Well, it didn’t take long to find an answer to my question. It turns out that Airsoft is basically the name for any recreational activity involving the shooting of non-metallic pellets using replica firearms. Basically, it is what I had commonly been referring to as paintball. However, that is not exactly correct. Paintball and Reballing are similar alternatives to Airsoft, but which are not the same. Instead of paint palls, Airsoft guns generally fire round plastic pellets. Although I have never had an opportunity to play Airsoft, I think the sport sounds like a lot of fun. Of course appropriate safety precautions should be taken. But assuming everything is safe, I think playing would be lots of fun and I can hardly wait to try.

My first car is a Ford. My husband bought it for me a year ago last month. I really like it. It is a very roomy Ford Expedition SUV. As our family has continued to grow, now my Ford has become the default family vehicle because it is a tight fit to get the car seats for all three of our daughters on the back seat of my husband’s sedan. It happens that we are currently considering a move in connection with a possible career change for my husband. I pick up my prenatal vitamins yesterday afternoon and when I open last night. It was kind of wet or it’s melting something like that. So I will probably go to CVS this afternoon to return my refill prenatal vitamins.

I have rode horses only a few times in my life, but that was enough to fall in love with the sport. Halloween is almost here and our kids could not be more excited. I think that Halloween is second only to Christmas as being a favorite of children across the United States. To heighten the anticipation of our kids, for the past two weekends we have taken family trips to a nearby Six Flags theme park. One thing that is special about Six Flags at this time of year is the Fright Fest specials that occur during the month of October each year. Thus, our kids have had two opportunities to go trick-or-treating this month.

As we move into the fall and winter season, there are a number of projects that we need to address. This past weekend, as we were preparing to take a trip to the grocery, I noted that once again I was getting a low tire pressure warning from my car. My husband mentioned that he knew that we needed to replace the tires, but he was delaying the purchase as long as he could. I think we should go ahead and get the tires changed before the weather breaks. I have been looking at some yokohama as530 tires that are available at a good price. So maybe I can convince my husband to make the purchase sooner rather than later.
While I was shopping online for tires, I also noticed some cheap racing seats that I thought would also make a nice upgrade. In light of how my husband has wanted to be frugal with our spending, it is not clear that I can get him to buy the seats. However, I think the price is too good to pass up.
The last major item that we are in the market for is another bed. We are expecting our fourth child later this fall, so it will be necessary to furnish another bedroom. I am thinking that we might move our bed to one of the Children’s room and get a new bed for our bedroom. Previously we had a king canopy bed in our old apartment, but it was stolen in our move. Thus, I think it might be nice to get another one.

Both I and my husband love to travel. In the years since we met, we have traveled all over the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia and to several states in the United States. My husband has traveled much more extensively. Indeed, by the time we met, he explained that one of his personal goals was to visit each of the world’s seven continents. And by that time in his life, only two remained: Australia and Antarctica.
Last year, one of my sisters married an Australian man and moved to Brisbane. I chat with her by phone or via a video messenger service almost daily. Thus, Australia has moved up as one of the number one travel destinations for our family over the next few years. Although we certainly want to see Sydney and Melbourne when we visit, we also want to get out of the cities to experience some of the country’s natural beauty. I know that the Blue Mountains are easily accessible from Sydney and that day trips are available. I think a day trip would be a wonderful way to get out and experience the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the city while still permitting us to get back to nice accommodations for the night – which is important given our 3 children.

My husband is in Los Angeles California right now. He went for a business trip. My husband convinced me to get online for the Cable sports package because he wanted all the baseball games but I was most excited to have Showtime. I had been hearing a lot of good things about that show Dexter so I decided to try and catch up before the new season starts sometime in October. I can’t wait! I’m already three seasons in and although I feel like watching Dexter is all I’ve been doing with my life recently I have gotten really into the storyline. It’s one of those shows that sort of has an arching theme each season that wraps up and I really like that since you don’t have to keep up with too terribly much. I know it’s a bit morbid and I don’t think people in my church group would understand why I like a show about a serial killer but he’s just so likeable and relatable for whatever reason! I know I’m not the only one who watches it though so that makes me feel better about it all.

The other day while the kids were playing in our front yard Jasmine saw this mantis in our front door. So I told Jasmine to get the camera so that I can take pictures on it. And she did get the camera and she was taking pictures on it. This is the first time that I saw this mantis in our front door.

stop collection harassment for good

The first anniversary of the day that I got my first car is fast approaching. As the car was used, it was not as expensive as many of the new cars on the road these days. Originally, we considered paying cash for the car, but ultimately decided that it made more sense to stretch the payments over time. The reason for this is that we were concerned with expending so much cash all at once. We decided that it was better to maintain our cash reserves.
As the country has been slow to fully emerge from the recession, I wonder what would happen if for some reason we were unable to make our payments. You never know what the future holds and it is not out of the question that my husband could lose his job. I have heard of things like this happening to others. Often people report that the worst part of having lost their income is the actions of bill collectors. As I understand it, seldom is the original creditor the party who is very bothersome. Instead, creditors tend to sell their debt to third party collection agencies. It is those agencies, who earn most of their profits from collections, who can really be abusive.
Well, I wonder if there is a way to stop collection harassment for good. I do not think that putting your name on a do-not-call list will work in these circumstances. Certain states have consumer protection laws that may help to alleviate the problem. If you live on the West coast, you may have an option to stop collection harassment California which may be more effective than what can be done in other parts of the country.

We have not purchased a new home computer since we purchased our home in 2008. When we got our last computer, it was just before the new Intel chips were released. Thus, technology has progressed substantially beyond that reflected in our current crop of home computers. Thus, I anticipate that computers may be back on our agenda for Christmas presents. The key will be to get up to speed on what is the latest and greatest technology and make a purchase that ensures that our computer will not be obsolete soon after our purchase.

I think our house is nice and has a lot of space, but I am beginning to think that we could use some extra garage space. I know that steel buildings can be easily installed to provide additional garage space. This would be useful for us because in addition to a large SUV and sedan, we store a number of other things in our garage. We have a riding mower, a lot of lawn equipment and even a refrigerator. We may consider adding a separate garage for our mower and lawn items.

I get up late this morning so instead that I will walk going to Jasmine school I end up of driving. So now I am thinking of walking since the weather is very nice. I know I should go for walk as soon as the weather still comfortable. Because in two months from now is getting colder it means it’s not comfortable to walk.
Well since its already 10:37 in the morning I will probably walk letter this afternoon. So right now I will focus on cleaning since my kids still playing.

One of my cousins in the Philippines is studying to become a nurse. There are lots of Filipino nurses, but just like in the United States, most are women. My cousin is a guy and one of only a few guys who is studying nursing at his school. When I discussed it with him, he suggested that he has already considered the possibility that he might take his degree and go work overseas. One great thing about the nursing profession is that there continues to be a significant need for nurses all over the world. As the Philippines is still a developing country, it is not hard to find a country where the nursing salaries would be much greater than what is available there at home.
My cousin was a huge help to me in planning my wedding many years ago, so I always try extra hard to be thoughtful and do nice things for him. It is hard to believe that I got my SUV a year ago this month. It was a little more than twelve months ago that I was still taking driving lessons. Although my driving lessons lasted almost the whole summer, they were not the only challenging part of getting my driver’s license. Earlier in the year, I had multiple tries to pass the written and behind the wheel driving test. When I failed to pass the first time, I enrolled in a class that ultimately helped me to pass the written part of the test. My subsequent driving lessons helped me pass the behind the wheel portion of the test.
Now that I have been driving for about a year, I am surprised that I am now more comfortable in my big SUV than I am behind the wheel of a smaller car. I like my SUV and now that I am becoming more of a veteran driver, I think it is time that I do some things to customize it further. I was looking online recently and noticed some nice running boards that I think would look great on my SUV. I may pick some up soon. I think I might also add mud-flaps and maybe upgrade my tires.

Whenever we attend a black tie even, my husband will generally wear his tuxedo along with a formal dress shirt with cuff links . I have always been a fan of cufflinks because they help to complete a more formal mode of dress. My husband owns several, but they are all rather bland. I know that some cufflinks can be quite elaborate, and I hope to get a few for my husband.

Travel outside of Asia

I entered the last year of my 30s this month. Sometimes, it is pretty amazing to think about how time flies. Less than 5 years ago, I was still living in the Philippines with little hope that I would ever travel outside of Asia. I imagine that in 10 years or so, I may start thinking about plastic surgery or some other type of beauty treatment as a means to cling to my youth. I know that there are lots of available options.
Well just think about this because one of my friend in the Philippines, got a plastic last month. Nothing really special.

Good morning everyone I just woke and directly set down here in front of my desk. I even brush my teeth yet. Well the reasons why I went directly here it because I am curious about the weather.
Because yesterday we went to the grocery store and you know what most people buy while we also shop, is water. Well I guess they were nervous that they my run out of water. Since I did buy any gallon of water at the store when we got home I get the entire pitcher in our cabinet and fill up of water. This is what they say on news.
The effects of Hurricane Irene begins to spread, with flooding in Norfolk, Va. as prolonged wind and rain pounds the Mid-Atlantic States on Saturday morning. A storm surge of 4 to 8 feet above ground level is forecast in the Lower Chesapeake and Del-Mar-Va regions. Flooding has been reported at the Monticello underpass in Nofolk.
That being said, this won't simply be a threat along the coast. Damaging winds and flooding rain will be a huge concern for locations well inland, including Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and much of Pennsylvania. Prepare for power outages.
So I must get the candle ready in case the power cut off.

It is interesting to think about sometimes, but after three children I have never had a baby shower. I am starting to think that I should have a baby shower for our fourth and final child. One issue would be, who should be invited to come. Most of my closer friends and family live nowhere near us in Northern Virginia. Thus, I would probably need to put a lot of thought into constructing an invite list. Then, I would need to select some nice baby shower invitations and thank you cards for anyone who gives me a nice gift.

We were having lunch and all of the sudden our house was shaking. And my older daughter Jasmine gets up quick and run to our living room. Since I was also nervous I called her and huge her with her others sisters. When the house stops shaking I called my husband and he said that he was also trying to call me. But anyway I start telling him that the house was shaking and he said yeah it was an earthquake. And he opened his door so that I can hear the announcements evacuation. So I told my husband what are you waiting you should come out now in your building before something happen.
Oh! What a scary afternoon we had here I thought somebody throwing something in our house. So I look at outside nobodies there. Then, it became clear to me that it was an earthquake.

It is a little surprising to me how few people in the United States seem to use motorcycles. In the Philippines, where I am from, and in other parts of Asia, the motorcycle and moped are probably the most common forms of transportation. Our family loves to watch movies. Previously, my husband had a 65 inch HD television, but it was large and bulky. Now, our main family television is a 50 inch flat screen monitor that is wall mounted in our family room. My husband and I are planning to create a media room in our basement. I have had my SUV for nearly a year now. It is hard to believe that this time last year I was still taking driving lessons. When I first started driving, I was nervous to drive such a big vehicle. I think I was nervous because I learned to drive in small cars. Frankly, it just feels different when you are driving such a large eight passenger vehicle. However, after driving for nearly a year, now I am more nervous when I drive smaller cars.
Well, I really love my SUV, and I think it is time that I started doing some things to upgrade the look. Although, it came with factory running boards, I think an upgrade would really help to update the overall look of the vehicle. Although I do not often have occasion to drive off-road, I also think mud flaps would help to prevent dirt and mud build up behind my wheels - even in normal every day driving. I think one of the simplest, and perhaps one of the most cost effective, ways to update the interior would be to get custom floor mats. I have seen them in the cars of friends, and I think the attention to detail adds a classy touch. Thus, as you might imagine, now that I have been driving a while, I am now quite comfortable behind the wheel. I suppose that I have always been proud of my SUV. A few upgrades would just be my way of displaying my pride of ownership.

I was just sitting here in front of my desk browsing online and when I check the time oh! Boy. It’s time for me to rush and cook lunch for my children. This is what I notice if I’m sitting in front of my desk time is very fast. But if I’m cleaning the house or ironing cloths time is very slow. Well I guess it’s because I’m paying attention with the clock and hopping that I can finish quick I don’t know.
Anyhow I should probably stop here now since I have more things to clean up.
I also notice that we don’t have regular milk oh! I just went to the grocery last weekend and bought 3 gallons of milk and now only half gallon left. Well I guess it is normal when most of your family at home drink milk. I wish I have more coupon so that I can save some money on our grocery.

I just send some money to my older sister since she is only the one have an ID picture. Well the reason why I send money to her because it’s almost two weeks now. Since my father hand got swelling. They were actually asking me last weekend when my father hand got started swelling. Perhaps I was waited and hopping that the exchange rate to get rise a little bit more. Perhaps the longer I wait the lowest rate I got. This evening I decide to send money and the exchange rate I got is only 1$ is equivalent to 41.40 Philippine money. Back in 2003 the exchange rate was 1 US dollar was 56 something into peso now it went down. I wish at that time I was already here in the United States. Maybe if I was here at that time I already bought a nice house for my father and other economical transportation. But unfortunately I wasn’t here yet in the United States I was still in the Philippines. Years months are passing by we never know where going to end up too. Hopefully since we don’t really know what the next thing happen in our lives. I can build something memorable that people will remember me.
But anyhow that is all for now, hope in the next few month I can finish the house that I build for my father.

Summer Trip Mistake

My husband and I always go away for a while in the summers since we’re both professors and it’s a great time for us to be able to take a few days off and have a vacation. Last summer, everything that went wrong could have. When we got home, our basement had flooded which took thousands of dollars and nearly a week to clean up. Also, my husband forgot to turn off the air conditioner which ran up our bill by about $200 since it was a heat wave while we were gone. I made him go to www.shopElectricityRATESTexas.com after that. Our mail never got stopped for some reason so it was strewn all over the driveway and my car even had a flat tire! All in all it really put a damper on the end of a great trip and although I don’t know that I ever want to return to those circumstances again, it was a great vacation and I’m hoping we’ll take another long one this year, too, despite the bad happenings.

Hello everyone how’s your weekend day. Well if you ask me we had great weekend day. On Saturday we went to Baltimore aquarium and meet my sister in-law and yesterday we went shopping buy some school supplies for my older daughter Jasmine and after that we went to six flags. That was great weekend for us. Well I know we should enjoy this hot summer day because for month from now it’s getting colder again and we cannot do much on cold weather. So, if you are from the country that has 4 season you should enjoy the warm weather. Since we don’t have any plan to go vacation this summer my husband thinking that we should go to ocean city every 2 weeks. Perhaps I said to him that it’s kind of expensive. But if we only drove their and came back maybe but since every time we go there we stayed at the hotel I guess is too much you know. The cheapest hotel that we stayed in ocean city cost 300$ include tax plus food and gas. So I think it’s too much so I told him that no. I sad it’s better to save that money and go to some place that I and our kids never been you know and he said yeah! I guess you are right. But we still to go maybe not ocean city but Virginia Beach. Because so far this summer we did not go to Virginia Beach. So we probably go there on my birthday this coming august we will see.
But anyhow looks like my kids are a wake now so that is all for now and happy Monday to you all.
